Those terms mean the status of that character in that mission. "Boss" seems to mean they were the character that gave the player the mission, as opposed to being the "final boss" to defeat at the end of it. For example, Lance Vance was the boss for a lot of missions in GTA VCS, and was killed at the end of GTA VC. Maybe "boss" isn't the best word to use, but I think they are useful to have on character pages. Gboyers 11:59, 15 April 2011 (BST)
