Vespucci University School of Law is a prestigious university in Varsity Heights, Algonquin, Liberty City based off of Columbia University.
Niko Bellic, the protagonist of GTA IV, lies and says he attended the School of Law in his younger days on his resume to Goldberg, Ligner & Shyster.
In The Ballad of Gay Tony, Luis Fernando Lopez must drive his friend Al Di Napoli to a drug deal with Oscar Gomez and another unknown accomplice at the university. During the mission, the deal is ambushed by police, and winds up with the four escaping.
Brian Meech graduated from Vespucci University.
Trivia
The university was likely named after the explorer who the continents of North and South America were named after, Amerigo Vespucci. This is again to mirror Columbus University, as it is named after Christopher Columbus, the explorer who discovered North and South America.
