It is referenced extensively throughout the [[GTA III Era]] as well as being mentioned in [[Grand Theft Auto IV]]. The city is is based on the real world location of [[wp:Miami|Miami]], [[wp:Florida|Florida]]. There are rumors that Vice City will be the setting for the next [[Grand Theft Auto|GTA]] game, but this has not been confirmed by [[Rockstar]] yet.
