WTF Center
The WTF Center encompass a complex of buildings in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, located in Castle Garden City, on the island of Algonquin in Liberty City.
Description
Prominently depicted with three modern buildings with near-identical facades (two of which are skyscrapers), and a greenhouse-like atrium between the WTF Center's two towers, the complex is based on Manhattan's World Financial Center, specifically consisting of recreations of 2 World Financial Center, 3 World Financial Center, the New York Mercantile Exchange and the Winter Garden Atrium. None of the WTF's center's buildings are accesible, although the interior of the atrium, while obscured, is still visible.
Located on a shoreline, the WTF center is fronted by a marina, where multiple boats typically spawn. A miniature outdoor garden is also located on the southern end of the complex.
The "WTF Center" is derived from the signage of the building's northern parking entrance.
Trivia
- The name of the structure is an obvious reference to the phrase "What the fuck?", as that phrase is often abbreviated as WTF.
