'''Winston Cole''' is a character from the [[Grand Theft Auto|Grand Theft Auto series]] that is mentioned on the [[Grand Theft Auto III]] website. Cole is not seen during any of the Grand Theft Auto games. Winston Cole is the chief engineer and project director for the Porter Tunnel, which links [[Portland Island]], [[Staunton Island]] and [[Shoreside Vale]]. March 2001 saw Winston telling the [[FBC Financial Group]] that the Porter Tunnel was at least six months behind schedule. This would tie in with the opening of Porter Tunnel in October 2001, which is the time period that Grand Theft Auto III takes place. It is not known how long Winston Cole has been in charge of the Porter Tunnel project, but the project was in the process of construction from at least 1998.
