A community bus route is where a community creates a fansite dedicated to running bus services both on and offline.

[http://www.libertytransitauthority.wordpress.com LTA] is a main site which lists routes, buses and passenger information.

The fansites are in no way related to R*.

The fans (community) 'pitch in' to create routes and drive them.

=== Online ===

For the[http://www.libertytransitauthority.wordpress.com LTA] the XBOX live manager is Tyvid. The Playstation Network Manager (TBC) is killblade1228.

The main mode of play is Free Mode. Routes are driven using the normal fleet and passengers can alight and depart at the drivers discretion.

=== Fleet ===
The fleet are normal 'Brute' GTA IV buses. No other vehicles are normally used.

A white/silver speedo are the supervisors cars. Their job is to ensure that services are running well. They can respond to anywhere in Liberty City and Alderny.

===Areas Used===

All areas in the game are used these are Broker, Dukes, Bohan, Alqonquin and Alderny. Charge and Colony island are frequented also by bus services.

===Depots===

Depots at: Broker (HQ), Sing Sing (Bohan), Waterfront (Alq) and Alderny Ferry Terminal.

There is a maintence depot near Dukes Expressway (Dukes)
