Which GTA IV finale do you think was a more satisfying ending to the story?

- Definitely Revenge. You still keep Roman as a friend, and still get the $500,000 reward. You also get to kill BOTH Jimmy Pegorino and Dmitri Rascalov. Katie doesn't give you anything anyway. Choosing Deal will give you $500,000 2 missions earlier. Roman dies, you can only kill Dmitri, and Kate breaks up with you.

Revenge, hands down. Shootout on a boat? Sanchez jump to helicopter? Final showdown with Pegorino on Happiness Island? Yes please. --Stankers 12:29, May 28, 2010 (UTC)

well, I always thought that Revenge was like the happier ending, and it was not as bitter sweat as Deal.

I think it alsomatters whether Niko decides to kill Darko. If he lets Darko live;Revenge. If he kills him;Deal. You can figure out why

Revenge, can't screw Kate and Roman gives free rides with funny cab driver... helps with pigeons. --CloverLynx 07:58, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Revenge is definitely the better option gameplay wise, but the real question is, would Niko Bellic really choose that? AtomicLlama 10:03, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

well, lets analyze that:

  1. Niko is disappointed by killing Darko as it is not really satisfying. therefor, He would think about not killing Dimitri, as he might feel the same as when he killed Darko
  2. Niko is happier if he lets Darko live. Therefor, it is not revenge he was looking for all along. He might let Dimitri live as he figured out that revenge is overrated, or something along those lines.

There you go. Deal is definitally the canon ending. it fits in with what happens with Darko, and everything in fact. Delo19xcrowbarx 08:00, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

I definitely prefered the 'Revenge' scenario. And besides, it would be stupid for Niko to deal with Dimitri. IKryptonite 10:30, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

well, Niko has a change of heart after finding Darko. He suddenly realizes that revenge is not what he wanted all along. He thinks that revenge on Dimitri may not be the best choice as the deal he is offering will benefit his family. Obviously, he is wrong, but that character development and change makes more sense than the revenge ending.Delo19xcrowbarx 06:37, September 15, 2010 (UTC)
