|Sean Johnson, known as '''Sweet''', is the leader of the [[Grove Street Families]] and the older brother of Carl, [[Kendl Johnson|Kendl]] and [[Brian Johnson|Brian]]. He has an un-named girlfriend. Sweet is initially skeptical about Carl's loyalty, blaming him for the death of Brian, but eventually accepts his brother back into the gang. He is arrested by the [[Los Santos Police Department|police]], before being released after [[Mike Toreno]] arranged for his release in return for a favour from Carl. He returns to his home in [[Ganton]] and helps to re-assert the Grove Street Families dominance in the area.<br>Voiced by [[Faizon Love]]. He is the main boss for the [[Los Santos]] missions.

|Jeffrey Cross, also known as '''OG Loc''', is an amateur rapper and an associate of the [[Grove Street Families]]. He is imprisoned and released from prison in [[1992]]. Upon his release he starts working for [[Burger Shot]] and begins to employ Carl to help his rap career get started. This includes killing [[Freddy (GTA SA)|Freddy]], a fellow inmate, and [[Alan Crawford]], [[Madd Dogg|Madd Dogg's]] manager. Carl's actions lead to Madd Dogg's career being derailed, allowing Loc to take his place. Loc is later managed by Big Smoke and finds initial success. However, Carl and Madd Dogg later chase Loc through western [[Los Santos]] and manage to corner Loc, taking Madd Dogg's rhyme book back (after Carl had [[Madd Dogg's Rhymes|stolen]] it for Loc).<br>Voiced by Jonathan "Jas" Anderson.

|Catalina is [[Cesar Vialpando|Cesar Vialpando's]] cousin who lives in a secluded shack in the [[Fern Ridge]] area. She hates men, with the exception of her boyfriends. She meets Carl in [[Dillimore]] and the two begin rob several businesses in the countryside. The two begin a relationship, which quickly ends due Catalina's anger with Carl's obsession with getting money. She finds a new boyfriend, [[Claude]], and leaves [[State of San Andreas|San Andreas]] for [[Liberty City in GTA III Era|Liberty City]]. |Mike Toreno is an undercover agent for an unknown government agency who becomes involved in the drugs trade, alongside [[Jizzy B.]] and [[T-Bone Mendez]]. He becomes an ally of Carl's through the drugs trade, however, Carl later attempts to kill Toreno. Despite this, Toreno employs Carl to do government-related missions and is later has Sweet released from prison.<br>Voiced by [[James Woods]]. He is the main boss for the [[Bone County]] missions.

|Wu Zi Mu, also known as '''Woozie''', is the blind leader of the Mountain Cloud Boys, a sub-sect of the [[San Fierro Triads]], who resides and owns a betting shop in [[Chinatown, San Fierro|Chinatown]], [[San Fierro]]. He meets Carl Johnson in a street race, which Carl wins. Wu Zi Mu later employs Carl to help his boss [[Ran Fa Li]] and to tackle the [[Da Nang Boys]], before pulling of a heist at the [[Mafia]] owned [[Caligula's Palace]] casino in [[Las Venturas]]. Wu Zi Mu later helps Carl to take back [[Madd Dogg|Madd Dogg's]] [[Madd Dogg's Crib|mansion]].<br>Voiced by James Yaegashi. He is the main boss for the [[Las Venturas]] missions.

|Madd Dogg is a rapper from [[Los Santos]], who resides in a [[Madd Dogg's Crib|mansion]] in [[Mulholland]]. When Carl Johnson returns to Los Santos, Madd Dogg is at the height of his career, having just launched his own line of clothing. However, he later begins to suffer from depression after Carl Johnson begins to sabotage his career, by stealing his rhyme book and killing his manager, [[Alan Crawford]]. Madd Dogg later flees to [[Las Venturas]], having given his mansion to [[Big Poppa]] in exchange for drugs. He attempts to commit suicide but is rescued by Carl, who later becomes his manager and helps to re-build his career. |Zero is a 28-year old electronics expert and owner of the [[Zero RC]] shop in [[San Fierro]], later running the store for new owner Carl Johnson. His archenemy is [[Berkley]], owner of [[Top Fun]], with Zero employing Carl to disrupt Berkley's business and eventually forcing him to leave the city following a miniature "war game". He later provides electronic equipment for a heist at [[Caligula's Palace]], although he is later punched by Carl for putting the heist at risk from [[Las Venturas Police Department|police]] intervention.<br>Voiced by David Cross.

|Jizzy B. is the owner of the [[Jizzy's Pleasure Domes|Pleasure Domes club]] in [[Battery Point]], [[San Fierro]] and is the cities biggest pimp. He is a member of the [[Loco Syndicate]], alongside [[T-Bone Mendez]] and [[Mike Toreno]], which is involved in the manufacturing and supplying of drugs. He employs Carl to stop rivals from stealing drugs and to save Mike Toreno. However, he is later killed by Carl for supplying drugs to the [[Grove Street Families]] and to [[Los Santos]].<br>Voiced by: Charlie Murphy. He is the main boss for the [[San Fierro]] missions.

|T-Bone Mendez is the leader of the [[San Fierro Rifa]] and a member of the [[Loco Syndicate]], alongside [[Jizzy B.]] and [[Mike Toreno]], which is involved in the manufacturing and supplying of drugs. He distrusts Carl Johnson but works alongside Carl to rescue Mike Toreno. He is later killed by Carl Johnson and [[Cesar Vialpando]] for supplying drugs to the [[Grove Street Families]] and to [[Los Santos]].<br>Voiced by: Kid Frost.

|Maccer is the lead singer of [[The Gurning Chimps]] band and is originally from Manchester in the [[United Kingdom]]. He and Kent Paul are rescued by Carl Johnson, having been stranded in the desert, and then again from the clutches of [[Salvatore Leone]]. Maccer continues to accompany Kent Paul, however, he is mocked by Carl and Sweet due to his uncontrollable sexual tendencies.<br>Voiced by Shaun Ryder.

|Ken Rosenberg is the manager of [[Caligula's Palace]], which is owned by three [[Mafia]] families: the [[Leone Family|Leones]], [[Forelli Family|Forellis]] and [[Sindacco Family|Sindaccos]]. Fearing his own death at the hands of one of the families, he quickly returns to drug use, having only recently become sober. Rosenberg later employs Carl Johnson to prevent a war breaking out between the three families, before eventually escaping with help from Carl. |Mark Wayne, also known as '''B-Dup''', is a member of the [[Grove Street Families]] and drug dealer who resides in [[Ganton]], [[Los Santos]]; later moving to [[Glen Park]]. He is drifting away from the Grove Street Families, eventually joining the [[Ballas]]. He has also "enslaved" [[Big Bear]], who eventually turns on B-Dup and enters rehab.<br>Voiced by: [[wp:The Game (rapper)|The Game]].

|Jimmy Silverman is a producer and manager working for [[Blastin' Fools Records]]. He had managed [[Rochell'le]] and [[Madd Dogg]], before working with [[OG Loc]]. Silverman later stops working with Loc, ending his rap career.<br>Voiced by: Gary Yudman.
