	:The only G3 variant that would be in the GTA games would be the [[PSG-1]] rifle, which is based off the CETME/G3 platform and is a much more precise and expensive variant of the G3/SG1 and MSG-90 rifles. But the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heckler_%26_Koch_G3 Heckler & Koch G3 battle rifle] and its variants make no known appearance. I am voicing my opinion for the next-gen games starting with [[Grand Theft Auto III\|GTA3]], so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. 	G3 is the particular model designation of the firearm(s) in question, whereas [http://www.hk-usa.com/ Heckler & Koch] is the maker of the firearms themselves. HK also produces the [[MP5]] and the [[PSG-1]], as noted above. Insofar as the talk page is concerned, I don't believe it is needed, since I have no knowledge of picking up or using a G3-pattern rifle in any GTA game to date.
