'''Tao Cheng's Translator''' is a character in the [[HD Universe]] who appears as a minor character in [[Grand Theft Auto V]]. He is voiced by [[Phil Nee]].

==Character history==
Tao Cheng's Translator is a member of the [[Wei Cheng Triad]] who is employed by the [[Gang Leaders|gangs leader]] [[Wei Cheng]] to help translate for his son [[Tao Cheng|Tao]] who cannot speak English. Tao and his translator, on orders from Wei, meets [[Trevor Philips]] in Wei's attempts to expand his drug operations in the [[United States of America|United States]]. The two are taken to his [[Liquor Ace|methamphetamine lab]] but are escorted into an refridgerator outside the building after the [[Los Varrios Aztecas]] launch an attack in [[Mr. Philips|revenge]] after Trevor destroyed [[Ortega]]'s [[Ortega's Trailer|trailer]]. Tao and his translator later report back to Wei who decides to work with the [[O'Neil Brothers|O'Neil brothers]]. Tao's translator [[Crystal Maze|informs]] him of this after being beaten up, which results in Trevor destroying the O'Neil [[O'Neil Farm|farm]].
