You can edit pages, reorganise them, recategorise them etc. You can even help write [[Policy]] and work to improve and reorganise the wiki if you like. [[Promotion]]s to staff are for people who already do that a lot - they'd need to know and understand this wiki a lot more than someone could with just 7 edits I'm afraid. You'd be best to spend a few weeks getting to know the wiki and helping out with some projects and [[Tasks]], then applying for promotion when you think you're ready, and when we have enough evidence to prove you'll be good at it.
