D-Ice wants Claude to eliminate twenty Purple Nines in a drive-by within two minutes and thirty seconds. D-Ice supplies Claude with unlimited amount of Uzi ammos. Claude then locates and kills twenty Purple Nines, avoiding the Red Jacks who also attack Claude.

D-Ice: Yo! This is D-Ice of the Red Jacks! I got a problem they tryin' to play me. These young punks, they come onto the streets and they got nothing but guns and SPANK on their minds. 'Nines' is their tag and purple is their flag and each day they rock their colors... is another day the 'Jacks' look soft. I want you to show these punk ass bitches how a real drive-by works. Take these Nines off of here!! Watch your back though, there'll be Jacks on the street who'll think you're trying to blast them too!

The reward for completing the mission is $10,000. Completing the mission unlocks Toyminator.

A glitch exists where Purple Nines will never spawn during the course of the mission, causing the player to fail and thus not be able to achieve 100% completion. This glitch occurs when a new game is created from the pause menu (via Load > New Game) after the player has already completed D-ice's mission strand. The only way to fix this glitch is to erase all GTA III game saves from the console's memory card viewer (or data folder if using a PC) and start a new game from scratch.[1]

  • The mission name is a wordplay on the phrase "easy money".
