Revision as of 15:15, 22 October 2013 by Loadingue(talk | contribs)(This article urgently needs to be updated. I might have to do it if no one else does.)
This page needs to be cleaned up to meet the standards of Grand Theft Wiki.
This is a list of weapons that appear in Grand Theft Auto V, which can be seen in the official GTA V trailer. Weapons currently listed may not appear in the final version of the game, with the exception of the protagonists fists.
Fists refer to the unarmed melee combat that is always available to the player in every Grand Theft Auto game. It is known that melee combat has been greatly improved in GTA V.
A golf club is first seen at the 0:17 second mark in the first GTA V trailer. It is possible it will come back as a weapon since Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which is also in Los Santos, have had golf clubs as weapons before.
A pistol has always been a weapon throughout the GTA series. The pistol is first seen at 1:07 in an officers holster. It closely resembles a Glock. If this is true, then the Glock model could be either a 17, 19, 21, 21SF, 22, 23, 34, or 35 as in the real life LAPD use one of these models. However recent screenshots show a Beretta 92FS (see below).
A weapon called a Pistol .50 is mentioned on Rockstar's website as a pre-order exclusive. As seen in a screenshot, it is a Desert Eagle chambered in .50AE.
A gameplay screenshot shows Trevor Phillips wielding a Mini UZI machine pistol while driving a lifeguard jetski. It is unknown what its pseudonym will be in-game; more than likely either SMG or Micro-SMG similar to previous titles.
A Mossberg 500 Cruiser pump action shotgun is wielded by Franklin in a gameplay screenshot. It has been modified with a shortened barrel and retractable stock.
What appears to be a Norinco Type 56-2 appears in several trailers. In each trailer, it has been seen with varying modifications, including flashlights, laser pointers and suppressors.
Several trailers for GTA V show an AR-15 SBR with what appears to be a Magpul CTR stock and a Daniel Defense MFR handguard. Earlier in development, as seen in the 2nd trailer for the game, this rifle was originally an HK416.
A CTAR-21 assault rifle can be seen in the hands of Michael in a gameplay screenshot depicting him sidegunning from a helicopter. It appears to have an olive-drab finish.
An FN SCAR-L is seen in the hands of a US Army soldier in the GTA Online trailer. It is identifiable as the L Model (Light) due to its 30-round STANAG magazine.
A Mark 14 grenade launcher is seen in a pre-release screenshot. Unlike the Episodes from Liberty City grenade launcher, this one can fire more than one grenade at a time as it holds ammunition in a revolving cylinder.
