The Pistol .44 is a new pistol featured in The Ballad of Gay Tony episodic pack for Grand Theft Auto IV. It is a .44 Magnum-caliber handgun for quick and accurate kills, and it holds 8 rounds per magazine. It was first briefly seen in the second "Episodes From Liberty City" trailer in which Luis shot a gunman on a plane while driving the Bati Custom and jumped on before it took off. The weapon is based on the AMC Auto Mag Pistol. This weapon is more powerful and accurate than the .357 Desert Eagle, but fires at a slower rate due to recoil. It takes 2 body shots to take down an unarmored target. It can be first obtained by killing Vic in the mission Boulevard Baby. The weapon spawns in Luis' Northwood Apartment on the coffee table in front of the flatscreen after successfully completing 10 Drug Wars and completing Boulevard Baby. It is capable of being used for executions.
