A Dish Served Cold is a the first mission of the "Revenge" ending of the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV. In this mission, Niko Bellic kills Dimitri Rascalov on the ship the Platypus, the very ship that Niko caught in to Liberty City.

Plot

After meeting with Jimmy Pegorino about the deal that Jimmy wanted Niko to do with Dimitri, Niko calls Roman. Roman knows about the whole thing, he also knows that Dimitri is on a boat in East Hook. Niko decides that he could go and kill Dimitri instead of doing the deal. The player is given a decision. If the player chooses "Revenge", they do this mission, and kill Dimitri.

Walkthrough

After getting the decision, if revenge is chosen, head to the red "revenge" icon on the map. Once there, park in the marker to start the mission.

There are many ways to do this, the first being kill the men next to the van and board the ship. Another way is to drive right alongside the ship to the ladder next to it, go to the top and sniper whoever possible. Once down (or if the ship was instantly boarded) use lots of cover, and make sure that every enemy is killed before going into the internal part of the ship. Once everyone is dead, head into the open door, use cover and kill all enemies. Be careful as you go, and collect all weapons that are dropped by enemies. Use grenades whenever there is an area full of enemies.

Head up to the very top of the ship, making sure to kill all enemies and collect all their weapons. Once the control room is reached, kill the enemy inside, and approach the controls.

On the way out, backup has arrived. Make sure to kill every enemy and collect all their weapons. Once all enemies are killed, go inside the cargo area that is now open. This is hard to find, and remember, the red dot on the map represents Dimitri, and not the door.

Once the cargo hold is found, drop down and take cover. Kill all the enemies, be careful, there are explosive barrels down here. If possible, use a grenade, but because of the explosive barrels, it may be better to just use cover and kill all enemies. Once every other enemy is killed, fire at Dimirti. Once he has lost all his health, he will drop his weapon, now it's time for an execution. Once he is killed make your way out of the ship, there is one remaining enemy but he is without a gun. A phone call to Roman will inform Niko that the wedding is coming up soon, also, Kate is glad that Niko cut his ties with Dimitri (not knowing how), she is coming to the wedding.
