The Babylon is a 'gang' in Grand Theft Auto 1 who are the main rivals of and work against the Brotherhood of Jah Army of Love gang led by Brother Marcus. The 'Babylon' is the American government, who are attempting to shut down the Brotherhood and regularly attack the Brotherhood and their activities. They are, however, frequently thwarted by the protagonist, who also kills the President of the United States during the game.
