Beat The Cock! is the name of two triathlon events in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
- These events are unlocked after completing Yay Ka-Boom-Boom, and are only available on weekends.
Description
The triathlon consists of swimming, running, and cycling. The triathlon is notable for having a man dressed in the Cluckin' Bell suit to take part of the event. Both triathlons take place on only on Saturdays and Sundays, and is available after "Yay Ka-Boom-Boom." The player must have more than half cycling skill and more than half stamina in order to take part. The first Beat the Cock challenge is located in Santa Maria Beach, Los Santos. The other is at Fisher's Lagoon, Red County. Carl Johnson needs to come in first in order to beat the event. By competing in the event, Carl is automatically given Pro-Laps 'Ball Shorts' to wear. The reward for completing the event is $10,000.
The triathlon at Santa Maria Beach starts with swimming across the Los Santos Inlet to Flint County. The next phase is to cycle towards the Avispa Country Club, through Flint County's woods. The last phase ends with a sprint to the top of Missionary Hill.
At the Fisher's Lagoon triathlon, the player first must swim the 9 checkpoint, then the bike course is extremely long (approximately 13 minutes ). The course takes you through Hilltop Farm, Blueberry, into San Fierro and Tierra Robada and finally into Las Venturas.
Whereas in some automotive racing challenges when the player could shoot the opponent and get away with it, shooting the opponents while racing in this race will result in an instant disqualification, as well as not getting on the bike within the 25 second limit during the cycling phase.
Completion of the Burglary side-mission will help the player immensely as the infinite sprint is almost crucial in winning.
The name of this event is an obvious reference to masturbation.
