Bullet Time also known as Dead-Eye is a feature and special ability used by Rockstar Games in their work which enables certain characters to have the ability to slow down time. This ability appears in the Max Payne series, the Red Dead series, and in Grand Theft Auto V.

It is unknown exactly why or how certain characters acquired this ability, however it seems to be a hereditary ability, as the sons of both John Marston and Michael De Santa, have the ability like their fathers.
