Buzzard 1 as it appears in Reuniting the Families

Buzzard 1 is the call-sign given to a Los Santos Police Department Police Maverick helicopter. It appears during the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mission Reuniting the Families where it plays a critical role during a raid on the Jefferson Motel. It arrives on scene and deploys SWAT teams into the building. Later during the raid, the helicopter is shot down by Carl Johnson and Sweet, who kill the four SWAT troopers standing on its railing. Buzzard 1 has a loudspeaker and the pilot yells out "This is Buzzard 1, we are taking ground fire," which confirms its identity. When destroyed the pilot will yell out "Mayday! Mayday! Buzzard 1 is going down!" The helicopter then crashes and explodes, killing everyone inside.
