CERO (The Computer Entertainment Rating Organization) is the organization that rates video games and computer software in Japan with levels of rating that inform the customer of the nature of the product and for what age group it is suitable. It was established in July 2002 and used the ESRB as a model.
Grand Theft Auto game ratings
So far all GTA games are rated Z, requiring the player be over 18 years of age to buy:
- Grand Theft Auto III - Z
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Z
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Z
- Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories - Z
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories - Z
- Grand Theft Auto IV - Z
- Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars - Z
GTA Chinatown Wars is the only Nintendo DS game to receive the Z rating.
