Callahan Point

Callahan Point is the main attraction of Portland, it is famous for the Callahan Bridge which was constructed in 1998, but was damaged when a bomb was set off during a police convoy in early 2001.

Callahan Bridge

The Callahan Bridge was constructed in 1998, in the events of GTA: Liberty City Stories. The bridge isn't finished yet when you'll start the game, as the bridge's endpoints are still disconnected to each other. The bridge is nearly finished on the mission Driving Mr. Leone, where you need to escape Salvatore Leonefrom the police by using the bridge's ramp to cross from Portland Island to Staunton Island. One of the ramps have a hidden package.

During the happenings of GTA III, the bridge was heavily damaged due to a planted bomb that was meant to ambush a police convoy. The bridge was not available to traffic, until renovation began after the end of the storyline missions of the game.

Attractions

A breakwater is found near the bridge pillar on the exit of the long avenue that extends from Hepburn Heights to Callahan Point. Also, a doughnut store is found there. Like the NYPD police is portrayed, a police car is always found park on the doughnut store.
