The Cavalcade FXT shares it's high-displacement V8, 5 speed gearbox and AWD system with the [[Cavalcade]] SUV, and retains much of the same performance, though it's top speed and acceleration are slightly poorer yet the two vehicles weigh the same. Handling and braking are also retained and very good, keeping the vehicle stable in turns and stopping distances short. Off road, the same can be said of the FXT as of the Cavalcade, making it one of few vehicles able to climb steep grades and medium sized rocks. The Albany Cavalcade FXT is a 4-door pick-up truck version of the Cavalcade SUV, in Grand Theft Auto IV.
Description
Having been based on the Cavalcade, the FXT is likely a reference to the Cadillac Escalade EXT, a pickup variant of the Escalade which the Cavalcade is based on. Its association with the Cavalcade also means the truck shares the Albany brand with the Cavalcade. As a pickup, the FXT may come with roll bars, a bed cover, or a plain bed.
Performance
