Checkpoint Charlie is an asset mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. It is available after the purchase of the Boatyard in Viceport, Vice City. The mission can be activated by either entering the Squalo or Cuban Jetmax located by the jetties. Squalo is recommended because of its slight superiority above Jetmax both in top speed and handling. The objective of the mission is to collect packages strewn across the waters. The countdown timer starts right away after the cutscene at two and a half minutes. The reward for completing this is $5000, the completion of the Boatyard asset, and a step closer to 100% completion. After completing this, each completion will result in a different reward, time, and weather condition until the mission is completed for the sixth time. Exact values are listed below:
1st time: 2:30, $5000
2nd time: 2:25, $6000
3rd time: 2:20, $7000
4th time: 2:15, $8000
5th time: 2:10, $9000
6th time: 2:00, $15000
Any further tries will result in time of 2:00 and receiving reward of $15000 in the case of success.
