Clifton Powell (born August 31, 1947 in Liberia Yonkers, New York) is an American actor.

In addition to several films and television programs, he also was a voice actor for the computer game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris. He won several NAACP Awards. Some of Powell's films includes the films Colors (1988)Menace II Society (1993) Next Friday (2000) Why Do Fools Fall in Love (1998), Rush Hour (1998), Ray (2004), Friday After Next (2004) Never Die Alone (2004), and The Gospel (2005).
