After he was fired, Ed remained unemployed, and his wife often argued with him because he didn't make enough money. Later he phoned in on V-Rock, telling Lazlow that he didn't know anything about rock and roll. He also claimed to have written Lazlow's entire playlist. It is unknown what happened to him afterwards. It is noteworthy that Ed has a different voice between [[Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories]] and [[Grand Theft Auto: Vice City]], although this could be because he used a radio voice during his time as a DJ.
