Coyote
The Coyote is a canid native to North America, which appears in Grand Theft Auto V. Coyotes appear throughout the more rural areas of Los Santos County (such as the [[Palomino Highlands) and throughout Blaine County, even in populated areas such as Sandy Shores. They tend to travel in small packs and, when approached, will run in the opposite direction of the player. Coyotes can be hunted by the player and may be required to do so if playing the hunting side mission. Trevor Philips is also required to shoot three coyotes during the mission Target Practice for Cletus Ewing. In the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game, the player may play as a coyote after eating a Peyote Plant.
