Dogs are a type of animal introduced in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V. Not much is known about dogs or their role in the game.

It is unknown if dogs will be seen with pedestrians throughout gameplay, or simply in a particular mission or cutscene, as was true for some features that were shown in GTA IV's trailers. In addition, Rockstar Games have stated in the past that they do not like the idea have having children or small animals in their games[1], although dogs were present and killable in Red Dead Redemption.
