| The '''Downtown police station''' is a [[Vice City Police Department]] [[Police station|station]] in [[Grand Theft Auto: Vice City]] and [[Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories]]. It is one of four police stations in [[Vice City in GTA III Era|Vice City]] and one of two located on the [[Vice City Mainland|Mainland]] ([[Little Havana Police Department|the other]] being in [[Little Havana]]).

| Located in [[Downtown Vice City]], the northernmost district in the [[Vice City Mainland]], the police station serves as the respawn point for players who are [[Busted|arrested]] within the northern half of Vice City Mainland. The station itself is by far the largest in the city, occupying a massive white, V-shaped corner building, also serving as the [[SWAT]]'s headquarters, and being the only police station in the city with a helipad. The police station is also based across the road from [[Vice City Fire Department|Vice City's only fire department]]. Like police stations in Little Havana and [[Vice Point Police Department|in Vice Point]], it is inaccessible.

| The police station spawns several vehicles in both GTA Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories. In both games, a [[Police Car|"Police" car/VCPD Cruiser]] spawns along the west side of the building, while a [[Police Maverick|Police Maverick/VCPD Maverick]] will spawn on the helipad (in GTA Vice City Stories, this does not occur until the player unlocks [[Vice City Beach]]). GTA Vice City Stories includes two more vehicles in the locale: an [[Enforcer]] behind the building, and a [[VCPD Wintergreen]] on the south side.
