Dune
The Dune is an off-road truck in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description
It has a sporty appearance and it has a very powerful engine that allows it to drive on and off road. While it handles on roads just fine, to use it's full potential the player will have to try it off road - particularly on sand. It can go anywhere at high speeds, but it tends to flip over since it's very tall and top heavy, however, it will only flip over if launching off of a ramp or driving up a hill incorrectly. It is based on racing trucks used in the Dakar Rally, most likely a Kamaz. There is also a glitch where the shine on the ground faces backwards, under the vehicle. This is resolved when one light is broken.
Locations
- One will always spawn in front of Blackfield Stadium in Las Venturas, after the player has completed Kickstart.
Trivia
- The Dune is sometimes called "Duneride" in the game files.
- The Dune plays the radio station K-JAH Radio West by default when entered.
