As in [[The Lost and Damned]], [[The Ballad of Gay Tony]] will feature a slew of new vehicles, game dynamics, minigames and guns. As in The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony will feature a slew of new vehicles, game dynamics, minigames and guns.

Features

  • Nitrous: Cars with nitrous are only available in the triathlons.
  • Parachutes: Base Jumping is introduced as fifteen destinations to jump from (off a building or helicopter) and to parachute safely to a location down below. After the player completes the base jumps a parachute will spawn at his safehouse. Alternately the player can buy one from Armando Torres.
  • Access to Clubs: Access to Bahama Mamas, Hercules and Maisonette 9.
  • Mini-Games: Dancing, Drinking and Bouncer (known in-game as Club Management).
  • Parma Violet-style Pink/Purple HUD: - similar to the beta HUD of GTA IV.
  • Underground Fight Club: The L.C. Cage Fighters is an underground fight club located in Northwood. Luis can go there to make some extra cash. As the levels increase the opponents will start to use knifes and bats. After the player wins the championship, he will achieve the Bear Fight achievement.  
  • Ability to Replay Missions and Mission Scoring: Mission scoring is similar to Manhunt.
  • Golfing: the player will be able to play golf on the course in Algonquin.
  • 50 Seagulls: 50 more seagulls, just the same as the ones in The Lost and Damned.

4 missions are revealed in which all missions are confirmed by "XBOX 360 WORLD" magazine and other gaming website through preview. The episode features around 30 missions.

  • Sexy Time
  • Going Deep
  • Dropping In... - Luis parachuting from a helicopter onto a glass-windowed skyscraper and he blasts his way to his target a few floors below and shoots his target, who then topples out of the bullet-ridden window. Luis dives out after him, wearing a parachute that glides him to safety.
  • For the Man Who Has Everything - a mission where Luis drops on to the top of a moving subway train from a bridge and unhooks one of the train cars for a collector. A Skyhook is then airlifts the train car away to safety.
