So does it? Or is it simply an easter egg? Like is there no relation between past and present GTA events?

I think that's a bit of an assumption. The two games are linked by references, but they aren't canonical continuations. The city is totally different, no characters reappear or anything like that. It's just a bit of fun from Rockstar I think. Gboyers talk 02:06, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
