Help! GTA 1 Graphics issues
I downloaded GTA from Rockstar's Website and everything installed correctly, I choose my character and get through the menus just fine but when I actually get into the game the screen rapidly switches between a clear image and a garbled one. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using and EVGA Nvidia GeForce 8500GT.
- What version of NVIDIA drivers is used? See it in DxDiag.exe or in Windows Device Manager.
6.14.0011.8520, also I noticed that if I install my original cd copy of the game and run it through dos box it will work fine if I choose the option to run it in high color mode or low color. 3dfx mode does not work. This leads me to believe that this is a DirectX issue. Thats about all I can gather.
