I might be able to pull some strings if you want to join the wiki. I know a user there so maybe I can ask him to let you in.--[[User:Spaceeinstein|spaceeinstein]] 01:39, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Forums GTA WikiGTA.nl

Is it me, or are they making it very hard for English speakers like us to join their wiki? In order to be a member, you have to participate in their forums, which is fair enough. Problem is, much of the communication there is done in Dutch. Wouldn't that be counter-productive? - ZS 17:52, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

WikiGTA is not a user driven website, they have a select few people who contribute to the site so as not to compromise the sites content. They use the wiki technology because it is easier to edit the site. As for the forum, when the majority of people contributing to the website speak Dutch, then it is no real surprise the forum discussions are in Dutch. I do remember, however, a thread to report problems, which was in English. Whether that is still there or not I don't know. You could also start creating threads in English, which may encourage more discussions in English. A-Dust 18:21, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Might look it up later to see if there are historical threads in English. Still hard to say whether or not the community's participation of English threads is generally positive. - ZS 19:01, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
