Tommy Vercetti wearing the Frankie outfit in GTA Vice City.

The Frankie is an unlockable outfit featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, serving as a reward for 100% completion of the game.

Description

The Frankie's clothing model is identical to that of the Casual, consisting of a T-shirt, and a pair of blue stone-washed jeans and white shoes derived from the Street. However, in comparison to the Casual's grey shirt, the Frankie shirt is colored white with black collar and sleeve rims, features black Pricedown text print in front that reads as follows:

I completed
Vice City
and all I got
was this
lousy T-shirt

The Frankie is awarded to the player once they have achieved 100% completion of the game, spawning near the northeast corner of the main office of the Vercetti Estate. Like other outfits in the game, changing into the outfit will remove up to a two star wanted level, even if the player is already wearing the outfit.

Trivia

  • The name of the outfit is likely to be a reference to the "Frankie Say..." T-shirts marketed during the release of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Two Tribes" in 1984. The shirts are typically white with bold black text in front, similar to the Frankie shirt in the game.
    • The Winner outfit in GTA Vice City Stories is closely related to the Frankie, with its T-shirt modeled to be more similar to the "Frankie Say..." shirts. In addition, the Winner is more easily obtainable, being unlocked after completing the storyline missions.
  • The "...and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" catchphrase was and still is a popular addition to T-shirts marketed for tourists. The phrase is likely included in the game to poke fun at Tommy's rise from a mere "tourist" to a major criminal element in Vice City.
  • Of all the 12 unlockable outfits in GTA Vice City, the Frankie is the hardest outfit to obtain due to the requirements to unlock it.
