Guernsey City is not part of Liberty City's metropolitan area like the Alderney island shown in game.

This city is unseen, however [[Jimmy Pegorino]] mentions to [[Niko Bellic]] that [[The Commission]] think's of Pegorino's crew as "just a bunch of Guernsey goombas" implying that Guernsey City has crossed over from [[Grand Theft Auto 1]] to the [[HD Universe]] (much like [[Liberty City in GTA 1|Liberty City]], [[Vice City in GTA 1|Vice City]], and [[San Andreas in GTA 1|San Andreas]]).

==Trivia==
*As stated by [[Rockstar Games|Rockstar]], from the perspectives of the players the surrounding area of the games' maps are endless ocean, however in reality (to the [[protagonist]] and all in-game characters) the mainland is actually extremely close. (At least on one side depending on which state you're in). This, with Jimmy Pegorino's statement, could imply that Guernsey City is very close to his home in [[Westdyke]].
