InterGlobal Studios refers to a film/television studio that exists in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. Many of the movies produced by the company still exist in the HD Universe, as do characters involved directly with the studio such as Candy Suxxx and Jack Howitzer, suggesting the company still exists in Vice City.

InterGlobal Films

In GTA Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories, players can find a film studio dubbed "InterGlobal Films" in Prawn Island, with few changes in between. In GTA Vice City, the studio serves as a pornography film studio for pornography film director Steve Scott, and is later bought by Tommy Vercetti. In GTA Vice City Stories, the studio in under the management of Reni Wassulmaier, who uses the studio to film commercials and "edgy" pop music videos before leaving Vice City to produce pornography in Europe.

Despite being associated with pornography shoots, the studio grounds, in both GTA Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories, seem relatively unrelated to pornography, including movie sets featuring battleships, a moon landing complete with an American flag (an apparent reference to conspiracy theories that American moon landings were faked) and a mockup of a Liberty City street scene; sets for a gothic scenery and a spaceship are seen in the GTA Vice City Stories rendition of the studio.

Besides its affiliation with crustaceans, the name of Prawn Island is a play on "porn" (or perhaps the internet slang "pr0n"), possibly in relation to the studio's preference to creating pornography in GTA Vice City.

"Crash!", a side mission, can be also accessed from the studio in GTA Vice City Stories.

Asset missions

InterGlobal Television

InterGlobal Television in GTA San Andreas.

In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, there is also an InterGlobal Television studio in Vinewood, Los Santos. This may suggest that the film studio has expanded or shifted into television, or exists in conjunction with InterGlobal Films. In here, the player can find a Sniper Rifle.

Trivia

  • This is the only spawning point for the Coach in GTA Vice City Stories.
  • Deleted game dialog in GTA Vice City suggests Tommy was originally going to get another phone call from Steve Scott, possibly with another mission. It was cut for unknown reasons.[1]
  • Around the back of the film studio there is an old gas pump prop which will explode if shot at.

    Over the phone
Steve Scott: Tommy! Look, I gotta ask you a favor.
Tommy Vercetti: Steve! How's filming going!
Steve Scott: Fine, fine. I, heh, WE need a car chase scene, but our budget can't stretch to it. I've left some wheels around town. You'll know what to do.
Tommy Vercetti: Ok Steve, I'll keep an eye out. Catch you later.
