Luigi Goterelli is a character in Grand Theft Auto III and a high ranking member of the Leone Family. He runs the Luigi's Sex Club 7 establishment in the Red Light District of Portland Island, Liberty City.
In 1992 Luigi resides in Liberty City, running Luigi's Sex Club 7. By 1998, the building has been taken by the the Sindacco Family and re-named Paulie's Revue Bar. However, when Toni Cipriani succeeds in pushing both the Forelli and Sindacco Families out of Portland Island, Luigi re-establishes his business.
In July 2001, Luigi is put on trial for "running premises for immoral purposes and for pandering women for profit". Luigi hires a new lawyer, although the result of the trial is unknown. [1]
Luigi's first appearance in the series is in GTA III, set in October 2001. He still runs Luigi's Sex Club 7 in the Red Light District, with the Sindacco Family unable to force their way back into the city. Mickey Hamfists works alongside Luigi in running the establishment, also working as Luigi's bodyguard. However, it is unlikely that Hamfists owns even part of the establishment, as he was put on trial alongside Luigi.
8-Ball, an old friend, introduces Luigi to Claude, who is looking for work after escaping from a police convoy.[2] Luigi first sends Claude to drive Misty from Sweeney General Hospital back to Luigi's Sex Club 7.[3] He becomes more trusting towards Claude, sending him to kill a small time drug dealer and steal his car[4], drive Misty to Joey Leone at his garage[5], kill two pimps[6] and transport at least six prostitutes to the Old School Hall in Chinatown for a police ball.[7] Luigi is then seen again when Leone Family Don Salvatore Leone calls a meeting.[8] Salvatore later has Claude kill Curly Bob, a bartender at Luigi's Sex Club 7, who had been selling Leone Family secrets to the Colombian Cartel in exchange for the drug SPANK.[9] After the mission Salvatore's Called a Meeting, Luigi is not seen throughout the rest of GTA III.
