Mel is a man in the very first missions for Vlad Glebov in Comrades Bar in which your meet Vlad for all of his missions. Mel starts to yell at the bar tender and Niko Bellic. Later on Niko meets Mel again, with Mel appearing sober and asking Niko to accompany him to repay his debts. Niko accompanies Mel and saves his life, after the those he owes money to begin to shoot him.
