Melee Weapons are featured in every Grand Theft Auto game after GTA III.

All Melee Weapons serve the same purpose (excluding the Chainsaw and the Teaser), to beat the victim to death.

GTA III featured only the Baseball Bat. In GTA Vice City, the number of Melee Weapons was upgraded all the way to ten and GTA San Andreas feaured Eight. Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories featured ten.
