Mr. Forge - Grand Theft Wiki, the GTA wiki

Mr. Forge was the husband of Mrs. Forge and the father of Dwayne Forge. According to Dwayne, he was a very cruel man and also a criminal. He used to beat his wife often, at one time when she bought him some golf clubs, he broke them all on his wife's back. He also used to say to his son that he "should also expect for the worst, then he could only be pleasantly surprised". Mr. Forge is one of the reasons Dwayne is such a negative person now. Mr. Forge was killed when some gangster broke into their house and killed him, with Dwayne watching the scene, feeling nothing. No emotions at all.
