In 1998, this district was under the control of the Forelli Family, but after a gang war, with the help of Toni Cipriani, the Uptown Yardies take over the turf and still control it until at least 2001, during the events of Grand Theft Auto III. Also located in this district are; the docks, where several boats can be found, City Hall, an Ammu-Nation, a Pay 'n' Spray, 8-Ball's bomb shop, and the Newport Multistory Car Park.
