Paleto Bay.

Paleto Bay is a small town in northern Blaine County, San Andreas, which appears in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. The town is located close to the nearby tourist attraction Mount Chiliad while the beach, served by Procopio Promenade, and a forest are also nearby. The town is located four hours away from the nearest city, Los Santos.

Events of HD Universe

In 1999, Merle Abrahams went to Paleto Bay on route to disposing of his eight victims near a small set of islands north of Paleto Bay. Roy Buckley was also elected mayor of Paleto Bay, presumably close to the events of GTA V and GTA Online. The residents of Paleto Bay, at some point, also began purchasing a number of guns with the town having 'some of the highest gun ownership per capita in the country'. The protagonist of Grand Theft Auto Online steals a diamond shipment from a rival crew for Trevor Philips and his gang.
