Payback is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars given to protagonist Huang Lee by his uncle and Lee Family head Wu "Kenny" Lee from his restaurant in Cerveza Heights, Dukes, Liberty City. It is unlocked by the mission Under the Gun.

Plot

Huang is grieving over Ling Shan's death while Kenny complains that the street gang from the previous mission needs to be taken care of so that they can't take over Kenny's territory. Kenny sends Huang to Steinway. As Huang arrives, a gang member asks what's he doing here. Huang wants blood. The gang member escapes and runs to his two friends nearby. Huang kills all of them as their backup arrives. The last surviving member attempts to escape in a car but Huang eventually catches up to him and kills him.

(At Sum Yung Gai) Kenny Lee: What happened is most distressing. Huang Lee: I know. I cannot believe Ling's dead. First my dad, now this. Kenny Lee: Ling's dead? Well, yes, that's unfortunate... but I was talking about being attacked by nobodies. The shame of it! Huang Lee: What? ...How can you be so cold? Ling was a nice person. Kenny Lee: Boo fucking hoo. Stop acting like a child. People die every day. It's the nature of this life we've chosen. Your father knew that. We musn't allow death to distract us from our purpose. Huang Lee: ...Our purpose? Kenny Lee: I've run this territory for years. And now some impudent street gang thinks they can just take it away from me? Make them pay for their arrogance, Huang. And avenge Ling! Huang Lee: Said with true feeling, Uncle! (At Steinway) Gang Member: Hey, triad! What you doing here? Huang Lee: I'm finishing what I started in Cerveza Heights. No one fucks with my family.

The reward for completing the mission is $50. Completing the mission unlocks the mission The Wheelman.
