Picador in Grove Street in San Andreas

The Picador is a car that has appeared on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It is a 'coupé utility' pickup truck. There is space for two people to fit in the car. It has the highest speed for any pickup on the game, however it is also the lightest and lacks the torque of the stronger trucks. It can be found almost anywhere in Los Santos. The Picador is based on a 1971 or 1972 Chevrolet El Camino. Sometimes there's a board or Sprunk cans in the back.

"Unique" Picador

During the mission "Catalyst", there are claims that killing Ryder after collecting the ammo crates, the crates will remain in the same place. This is not the case on the PC version of the game. Even if players do manage to kill Ryder, the crates dissappear. If they put the car in a garage then commit suicide, the crates will still dissappear.

Trivia

  • Ryder's car is a burgundy Picador with a license plate reading "SHERM", a slang term for PCP (CJ calls Ryder "sherm-head" throughout the game). Despite some claims that it disappears upon Ryder's death, the car will still spawn on some occasions.
