Ralph Pendelbury

Officer Ralph Pendelbury is a character from the Grand Theft Auto series, who appears is mentioned in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and can be seen in The Introduction.

Ralph Pendelbury is a police officer in the Los Santos Police Department, who is threatening to give the police damning evidence against Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski. He may or may not have been working for C.R.A.S.H.. Tenpenny, Pulaski and their new associate eventually catch him: Jimmy Hernandez.

They take him to a secluded area in the dock area of Los Santos, with Officer Pulaski beating him to a pulp. Officer Tenpenny stops Officer Pulaski, and instructs Officer Hernandez to kill him. After Officer Tenpenny threatened his own life, Officer Hernandez shoots and kills Ralph Pendelbury.

Carl Johnson is framed for the murder of Officer Pendelbury by Tenpenny, Pulaski and Hernandez, which allows them to manipulate Carl for a period of time. Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski are later both charged with the murder of Pendelbury, although Carl Johnson has already murdered Pulaski. Tenpenny is cleared of all charges, due to lack of evidence, which effectively set off riots in Los Santos.
