Red mist is a term given to a large quantity of blood flow, implying that this soccer team is violent and possibly referencing to violence in soccer.

Red Mist FC is apparently based off the New York Red Bulls a real life professional soccer team, playing in the MLS.

Considering that the New York Red Bulls are sponsored by Red Bull, an energy drink in real life, it's possible that there may be a beverage in the game called Red Mist, replacing Red Bull
