The Senora Beacon is a newspaper in Blaine County, San Andreas, which appears in Grand Theft Auto V. The newspaper describes itself as "proudly provincial" and covers the news stories of the county. "It was an accident" claims 'heart broken' husband.
A young husband was made a widower yesterday in an incident at the cliffs in eastern Blaine County. John "Jock" Cranley, 26 and his wife Jolene Cranley-Evans, 22, were walking by the cliffs overlooking the El Gordo Lighthouse when a dispute ended in Mrs Cranley-Evans falling to her death.
Mr. Cranley and his wife, both of Sandy Shores, had been known to be having troubles in their marriage. Mr. Cranley apparently wanted to leave Blaine County and move to Los Santos to pursue dreams of becoming a stuntman while his wife was keen to stay to help look after her ailing parents and run their thriving guest house. Mr. Cranley told reporters outside the police station where he had been released without charge "I'm heart broken. I loved my wife. I would never throw her off a cliff, despite her desire to destroy my dreams of success and happiness. I will miss her always and dedicate my career to her memory." His wife's father, Jeb Evans, called for police to open a proper investigation.

Gangs and death in Alamo Sea

First it was the bikers, now the Mexicans- Not wanting to get the Senora Beacon in any further legal trouble with my sweeping generalizations, I should add that I am talking about gangs, of course; specifically the Lost Motorcycle Club and, more recently, Los Varios Aztecas. According to my sources - which are primarily Janet at the Yellowjack Inn - Los Varios Aztecas, a Mexican-American street gang, are now using the Alamo Sea region as their main base of operations, having been largely forced out of Los Santos by vicious turf wars with rivals Los Santos Vagos.

Police in Blaine County are requesting increased resources from the state to deal with the latest outbreak of drug-related violence. The highly lucrative crystal methamphetamine trade seems to be headquartered in towns around the Alamo Sea, while it is also believed several Mexican cartels also have a presence in the area. Police have attributed recent massacres to an on-going turf war, thought to involve four or five different gangs, including outlaw biker gangs, cartels, street gangs from Los Santos and two or more local operations. Some recent shootouts have been so bloody, so local politicians are calling for increased firepower and have requested either military or paramilitary support to control recent events. Don Percival, CEO of Merryweather has offered his company’s services.
