Talk:Assault Shotgun

(also commonly known as the "DAO-12" and "Streetsweeper")

Incorrect and partially true. What's incorrect is that while "DAO-12" is commonly mistaken for the weapon's actual name, "DAO" is only really used relative to the weapon's "Double Action Only" trigger, not the whole device. What's partially true is that the "Street Sweeper" isn't an alternate name for the Armsel Stryker, but rather an American-made copy of it. Ghost Leader 11:38, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Small clean up

I deleted use of the name "DAO-12" from the page because this is a fictional name coined by DICE referring to the Street Sweeper in the Battlefield series. Secondly, I cleaned up the trivia sentence regarding Johnny referring to it as "American" because he's technically half correct. The Street Sweeper is indeed an American gun produced in America, but it's a copy of a South African design. The assumption that he refers to it as American because it's "ideal for gunfights in the United States" is based on some pretty strange logic to me, so I deleted it, too. Just being ideal for some kind of use in the US doesn't necessarily make an object "American". A Honda Accord, for example, is ideal for driving in the United States (especially with today's gas prices), but that doesn't make it an American car.
