Character Lists

This page should eventually look like the Missions page, although I've been reluctant to change it until all the listed characters have pages/all characters are listed on my sandbox. A suggestion is to have links to individual character lists (by game) and then other lists (such as character by surname, type of character and/or a list for GTA III era characters). For the surname list, if there is no surname then list by first name and if no first name then by nickname. What are peoples opinions? A-Dust 22:14, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

This makes sense to me. As far as names are concerned, I would also argue that a nickname list might be in order, since some very important characters are known primarily by their nicknames, and only secondarily by their proper names. Examples that immediately come to mind are Carl "CJ" Johnson, Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris, Lance "Ryder" Wilson, and Sean "Sweet" Johnson. I would argue that people looking for these characters would be searching mainly by their nicknames. Thoughts? Eganio^Talk 22:44, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

On the list at the moment, nicknames are given in the information box. To get around this, we could give a brief description of how to access the find function, which would allow people to find the people their looking for. A-Dust 00:49, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

That's an excellent suggestion...how about adding a "Nickname" or "a.k.a." column? Are there enough characters with nicknames/aliases to justify this? Eganio^Talk 04:32, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
