Glitch/feature & possible trivia

I played this mission on GTA3 mobile. The bomb was activated right after I exited the police car, so I haven't had to activate it while in car. After I drove with another car into the 8 Ball garage and left it, the bomb timer was also automatically turned on. Does this happen only on the mobile version? And maybe a small trivia point: the voices from the cell can be heard all the time, even if the player is not searching for a police car. The Yakuza member is not inside during the explosons (otherwise he would be obviously dead, just like the cop which was beating him), he is spawned right after the explosions.
